Some of the latest

I haven't been taking any shoots over the Christmas season and so far in the new year but I do have sessions I haven't posted any of so I want to share a few of my favorite shots as of late!

I've taken a break from booking any sessions so I can get our life back on track with Dustin starting work again. I also am upgrading my equipment and have a lot of work to do before I start taking clients again. I am kind of going crazy not shooting lately but I did learn a lot of things this past fall season and i'm going into this year with a new perspective and outlook on my business. I'm excited to see where it all takes me!

These first few shots were for a friend of mine. These photos were in memory of her sweet baby Navi who was born an angel. This session was such an honor to do for her. I'm so grateful to be a part of this for her and her beautiful family. 

Do boys even come this adorable? I could die.

This is my neice, Emma, who i've been wanting to do this session with forever! We finally were able to do it and I LOVE how these turned out! I'm sure lucky to have such beautiful children in our families!! 

I am entering this photo on the Rock the shot monthly challenge page. The topic is "RED" and I think this photo is perfect!! One of my favs forsure!

And I couldn't miss out on the snow shots, so I took Kyla out for a few. She's always my favorite to take photos of. Such a natural and she rocks it every time! A photographers dream child!

 

One last one. My twin girls Jayci and Presley, they are getting too big. I can't believe they are going to be 5 in a couple months! Stop growing!!

Favorite Photo of 2012

I LOVE Rock The Shot. It's one of the best forums i've seen, it's so positive and helping and such a great community. Someone is always willing to answer your question no matter what it is! It's so awesome! Not too mention the information the blog provides. They have AWESOME posts!

So they are having a January Photo Challenge and it's for your favorite photo of 2012. So that got me thinking of which photo I love the best from last year. It's so hard to choose but I think one of my favorites has definitely got to be the one I took of my daughter Kyla. I'd been planning this session for weeks and made her accessories. The day I decided to do it, it was going to rain. I did her up and told my husband I was going to run out quick and do these photos! At the last minute I was trying to decide what would make these photos even better. So I had my husband grab my entire vanity and we hauled it out to the trees. It was the fastest and best shoot I had done and she rocked it. She is such a natural infront of the camera. I don't even tell her how to pose, she does it all on her own. It's like watching America's Next Top Model in a child! It's pretty entertaining and a photographer moms DREAM. ;)
